My mother, on the other hand, has gone about business like it was nothing else. I thought the sheer size of Tokyo would overwhelm her (and it certainly did to me, the first time I really experienced the number of people that are packed into this city), but she has honestly been dragging me around. I'm a little frightened by this version of my mother, I think! In a good way, of course. I'm really happy to get to spend time with her. And my brother, sister-in-law and nephew, who are also here. Even though Ainsley plays for The Enemy.
The weather's not what I'm used to, but other than that, I really do love Japan. I'm sure Fabian would have liked it here, too.
